Liza Maimone

Managing Partner, Consulting, PwC Australia

Liza is the Managing Partner for PwC Australia Consulting and a member of PwC Australia's Executive Board. The Consulting business is one of three businesses of PwC in Australia, covering Strategy consulting, management consulting, risk consulting and technology consulting, with more than 1900 people and 160 partners. Liza is also a member of PwC's Consulting Australia South East Asia and New Zealand leadership team.

Liza's professional expertise is as a senior partner specialising in risk consulting, governance and sustainable development including HSE with over 23 years’ experience. Liza is highly sought after as a governance and risk advisor and assurance provider to senior management and Boards.

Prior to joining professional services, Liza worked for a global engineering firm and a global oil & gas company.  Liza is a chemical engineer with post graduate qualifications in energy and resources law, she is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia (a Chartered Professional Engineer) and is a senior fellow of the Melbourne School of Engineering.

Liza also holds a range of governance positions on external boards and professional bodies. For example, Liza is a Director of PwC’s Indigenous Consulting business; a Trustee of the Sustainable Melbourne Fund; and a Director of the University of Melbourne School of Engineering.
