Professional Model Build Training
Professional Model Build is a two-day advanced course for analysts who are already familiar with Excel and want to go further. It provides a comprehensive review of all phases of PwC’s model build methodology and best practice design standards and covers advanced Excel features such as “navigation” and “error check” maps.
This course is a combination of theory, discussion and hands-on use of Excel, and is specifically designed to teach modelling techniques as opposed to how to build a specific kind of model. Our best practices and techniques apply to all modelling in Excel, and we believe that this training approach stands us apart from our competitors.
Introduction to Project Finance Training
Introduction to Project Finance is a two-day training course for Infrastructure, Mining, Fund and Banking professionals. This course provides advanced techniques to build complex project finance models in a best practice and simple manner. This course is taught with a commercial lens by tutors with specialised skills with years of transaction experience within the industry. The learnings from this course can be applied to projects such as solar, wind, hydro, mining, data centres, waste management, toll roads and transport.

Ian Bennett is the Global and National Deals Modelling Leader, with 20 years of experience in the construction and review of complex financial models he has been involved in more than 100 transactions.
Farouk Dahbourah
Deals Modelling Partner
Farouk Dahbourah is a Partner in the national Deals Modelling practice and leads the training business. He has over 15 years of experience in financial advisory, building and reviewing financial models across different sectors.
Thuthuka Manasa
Deals Modelling Partner
Thuthuka Manasa is a Partner in the national Deals Modelling practice. He has over 20 years of experience in financial advisory, building and reviewing financial models across different sectors.
Shakib Parvez
Lead Trainer
Shakib Parvez is the lead trainer of the various training programs and an Associate Director in the Deals Modelling team. He has tutored over 50 training courses. Shakib was also a finalist for the Modelling Trainer of the Year at the recent global Financial Modelling Summit awards.
Isabel Kipen
Facilitator
Isabel is a Senior Consultant in the Deals Modelling team and assists with the delivery of training courses. She was a finalist for the Emerging Financial Modeller of the Year at the recent global Financial Modelling Summit awards.
