Clara Cutajar
Partner, Deals, PwC Australia
Clara is a partner with over 30 years' experience working with PwC in the Deals team. Clara is a member of the Governance Board. In addition, Clara is a member of the Deals Leadership team and the Global Infrastructure Leadership team.
Clara started her career in private clients and has also worked in the audit and tax teams. She has been a partner in the Deals team since 2005. Clara has an extensive deals experience both in Australia, the United States and the UK having worked in the PwC New York Deals team on a secondment.
Clara has worked with both strategic and financial buyers and has assisted clients on transactions ranging from $5 million to $22.0 billion over a diverse range of industries, although in the past years has specialised in infrastructure transactions. Clara works with both private sector clients across Australia on capital recycling programs. Clara has been involved in a broad range of services across the deal’s continuum including buyside, sell side and public document transactions.
Clara is on the board of Ryde Royal Rehab where she chairs the audit and risk committee.
Clara holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
