PwC Australia welcomes additions to its partnership
PwC Australia has today welcomed 29 new admissions to its partnership, recognising the exceptional individuals for their deep-industry expertise and leadership. Today’s admissions bring the total number of new partners to 34 for the 12-month period.
Amid the strong cohort of candidates, the new partners bring experience in areas such as private capital, financial services, consumer markets as well as energy, utilities and mining, while also displaying the key cultural traits the firm is grounded by; curiosity, collaboration and constructive challenge.
PwC Australia CEO, Kevin Burrowes, said the new admissions will join a partnership driven to help clients capitalise on the opportunities presented by global trends such as artificial intelligence and climate change.
“Industries as we know them are changing, with global pressures such as inflation and geopolitical tension leading to supply chain disruptions. This presents both a challenge and opportunity for businesses seeking to diversify or capitalise on the value that's being created as a result,” he said.
“These new partners have demonstrated that they are well equipped to help our clients navigate this change, utilising the latest technological advancements and innovations. They’ve shown they can think outside the box to create exciting solutions for clients, which tap into new value pools or drive productivity gains.
“I welcome them warmly to our partnership, and look forward to seeing their contributions, as we strive to become the pre-eminent professional services firm.”
Starting today, the firm’s new partners are:
This is in addition to the admissions of Kerryl Bradshaw (Advisory), Rob Kopel (AI Centre of Excellence), Karen Lonergan (Chief People Officer), Nick P’ng (Advisory) and Jason McLean (Advisory) who joined the partnership across the past financial year.
The firm expressed its gratitude to the 76 partners retiring from the firm on July 1.
“We thank these partners for their significant contributions to the firm. Your leadership, commitment to excellence and mentoring has helped steer the firm towards its next era. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours,” Mr Burrowes said.
