Supporting your infrastructure outcomes

PwC’s Environmental Transactions & Advisory team will assess your requirements and can integrate appropriate transaction advisory services, including:

Commercial and financial

  • At-market commercial input to all project and transaction agreements
  • At-market commercial advice regarding project arrangements, negotiation support and opportunities for value uplift
  • Undertake project and transaction due diligence, market benchmarking and prepare red-flag reports (including risks and mitigants) 
  • Advise on appropriate returns and valuation for the risks and rewards of the transaction
  • Advise, structure and raise equity capital
  • Review, prepare or audit transaction financial model (as required)
  • Transaction manage all stages of the transaction


  • Analyse and advise on economic regulation frameworks

Debt advisory

  • Advise on optimal debt structure, given project risk profile and funding requirements
  • Identify relevant debt markets, including banks, bond investors, institutional lenders and ECAs, to source required debt package
  • Undertake a debt tender/competition appropriate for project timeline and risk profile
  • Interaction with due diligence providers to the project to ensure appropriate for debt markets
  • Advise on optimal borrowing structure and documentation to provide flexibility over project life
  • Advise on financial risk management and hedging strategies required for the project
  • Negotiate debt package terms and conditions
