Strategic Transport Modelling

PwC’s Strategic Modelling team has extensive experience in modelling complex scenarios for multi-modal urban, regional and national transportation projects. We utilise state-of-the-art software to simulate the existing transport network and we work closely with other disciplines and stakeholders to establish well-grounded assumptions to evaluate future transport scenarios, leading to informed decisions.

Transport and Traffic:

The PwC team brings significant experience across the full spectrum of transport modelling projects. We have undertaken the transport network modelling and forecasting that underpins many major infrastructure projects including Cross River Rail, Parramatta Light Rail and Gold Coast Light Rail. We also develop models of all types from strategic models through to microsimulation and intersection models. Our teams differentiator is our ability to integrate with other disciplines to solve large-scale, and complex transport problems

Land Use and Urban Renewal:

PwC has expertise in specialist land use and value capture modelling for integrated transport and land use and urban renewal projects. We also have experience undertaking surveys and market research, bringing together the associated data and statistical analysis to complement this modelling.

Aviation and Freight:

The PwC team has strong credentials in the aviation and freight sectors. We have significant experience undertaking aviation forecasting for passengers and freight, together with broader commercial and advisory services for the aviation sector and transport modelling on the land-side airport operations.
