Released today, PwC Legal has been given the top spot in the Acritas Global Alternative Legal Brand Index with a perfect score on the brand index of 100.
PwC Australia Legal leader, Tony O’Malley, said that the recognition is testament to a strengthening market appreciation for integrated solutions:
“Locally, we have seen our legal brand go from strength to strength as clients look for a more diverse and integrated skill set to solve their problems,” Mr O’Malley said.
“By bringing our clients the quality of a traditional top-tier law firm alongside a broader pool of industry specialists and multidisciplinary experts, we have a unique solution set that is hard to match for certain types of projects.”
“It goes without saying that PwC has an incredibly strong brand globally, but we now see the market starting to recognise our legal services in the same vein as our outstanding businesses in Consulting and Advisory.”
“We are now more than 3,200 lawyers strong across more than 90 territories, so we certainly have the size and scale to leverage this market recognition.”
The Acritas report was based on a survey of over 800 general counsel or their equivalents in $1 billion+ revenue organisations across the world. In addition to the global recognition, PwC Legal was also announced as the strongest brand at an Asia Pacific regional level with a perfect score of 100.
The brand recognition comes at a time of further growth across the network, with the recent announcement of the affiliation with immigration law firm Fragomen; and the launch of ILC (a US-focused service) all happening in the past twelve months.
