About Nicole

Nicole is a partner at PwC Australia and the Risk Consulting Leader for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

She is based in Sydney and specialises in providing governance, risk and reputational advice to large multinational organisations in the financial services sector.

Nicole has a detailed understanding of the regulations governing financial services, particularly as they relate to retail banking and wealth management, and broad experience applying them to a range of organisations. She is also experienced in developing practical, implementable recommendations that enhance risk management and compliance frameworks, while supporting sustainable business outcomes.

During her time at PwC Australia, Nicole has reviewed the operations of some of Australia’s largest financial services businesses. As part of this process, she assesses the adequacy of their operations and benchmarks them against industry standards to provide best practice recommendations.

Nicole has advised numerous boards and committees on good governance, helping them respond to reputational and regulatory risks, and develop sustainable solutions. She has also worked with large financial services organisations on transformational projects that resulted from acquisitions, amalgamations and business restructures.

As an independent expert, Nicole has worked extensively with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). She was recently the lead partner for the ASIC Capability Review, which assessed how ASIC fulfils its mandate for the Federal Treasury.

In 2003, Nicole was selected for Genesis Park, PwC’s six-month global leadership development program held in Washington DC.

In addition to her role at PwC, Nicole sits on the Foundation Board at St Joseph’s College.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Marketing from the University of Sydney, and is a member of the Risk Management Association.
