Partner & Chief Marketing Officer, PwC Australia
Mike McGrath is the Chief Marketing Officer at PwC Australia. An industry veteran of more than 25 years, Mike has extensive experience in telecommunications across the European, Asia-Pacific and North American markets.
In addition, Mike has worked with the financial services, government, energy & utilities and transport & logistics sectors to provide more effective solutions for Australia, Canadian and global businesses.
In his current role with PwC Australia, Mike leads the firm’s Strategic Marketing, Communications & Brand. At PwC, Mike has been Client Lead Partner for Telstra for the past five years and worked with Telstra for the past decade.
Having been with PwC since 2003, Mike was previously PwC’s Leader of National Consulting Markets & Industries; was the Growth Strategy Practice Leader in Consulting; and, was a former member of the Consulting Leadership Team.
Mike has close to a decade of consulting experience and fourteen years as a senior executive with Bell Canada. In addition to his work in Consumer and Business P&L’s, Mike has also worked in a diverse array of business areas, including IT, strategy, networks, operations, product management and sales and marketing.
Mike holds an MBA (Queen’s University, Canada); has completed two executive education programs (Stanford University and MIT’s Sloan School of Management); and, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing (Brock University, Canada).
A former director of the PwC Foundation, Mike is a Director of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Brighton Grammar School Council and sits on the Advisory Council of the Goodman School of Business, Brock University. Mike currently resides in Melbourne with his wife and three children.
