Audit Business Leader, PwC Australia
Liz leads PwC Australia’s Audit Business and is a member of the firm’s Executive Board. Liz is passionate about the audit profession and the role that it plays in building integrity and confidence in the capital markets. She has a focus on audit quality and how we approach the audit with a deep and broad understanding of our clients’ business, and the industry in which they operate, in order to deliver value confidently through transparent reporting to stakeholders.
Liz is focused on the Financial Services sector and has extensive Banking and Capital markets experience that spans the globe. During her career, Liz has focussed on the audits of financial services institutions including multinational banks, investment banks, securities companies, fund managers and sovereign wealth funds. She has significant experience auditing global and local banks with complex systems, processes and controls.
Liz spent four years in the firm’s New York office and has had a number of shorter term assignments in the UK and across Asia, including India. Liz leverages her extensive network to bring insights to clients and provide advice that is commercial, practical and helps organisations achieve their strategic goals.
Outside of her role at PwC, Liz is a Board Member of the Sydney Community Foundation & Be Kind Sydney, which aligns to her passion of building an inclusive and kind Sydney where all communities can thrive. She is also a Women in Banking and Finance Mentor, Member of the Risk Management Association and a former Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for Philanthropy Australia.
