About Frances

Frances is a Partner and the Consulting Clients and Markets Leader at PwC Australia Consulting. She is a member of PwC Australia Consulting’s leadership team; PwC Australia’s Vision 2020 extended leadership team; and the PwC Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand (ASEANZ) Consulting Markets Council.

Frances is based in Sydney and leads the Client and Industries Program. She is responsible for driving the firm’s go-to-market strategy. This includes implementing client-facing strategies, creating innovative business propositions, marketing and building PwC’s brand. Since taking on this role, she has developed and executed strategies that have consistently achieved double-digit revenue and profit growth.

In addition to her current role, Frances has also been Department of Human Services Client Lead Partner; Consulting Government and Public Sector Lead; Government Strategy Practice Lead; and Firmwide NSW Government Client Lead Partner.

With more than 40 years’ experience, Frances has extensive knowledge of governance, leadership and management in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Prior to joining PwC Australia in 2003, Frances was a senior adviser to NSW Government ministers including the Assistant Treasurer, the Minister for Community Services and the Minister for Public Works. During this period, she played a significant role in several successful reforms, including the reforms of the Regulatory Framework for Children’s Services, the NSW workers compensation system and the NSW compulsory third party (CTP) insurance scheme.

She also spent 10 years in the children’s services sector, where she was involved in building a state-wide parents’ information and referral service, as well as the first corporate childcare advisory service in Australia.

Frances is committed to creating positive social outcomes and has previously been a member of the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation Board.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW. She is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
