Applying to PwC

We'll give you every chance to show us what you're made of and that you possess the skills we look for.

How we hire

It's very important to us that we find the right people for the firm, so we've created a step-by-step process that will help us get to know each other and work together to match your interests and skills with the right opportunities at PwC.

We aspire to seek and integrate a diverse range of perspectives, people and ideas into our workforce. Therefore we'll ask optional questions about your cultural background and gender as part of the job application process. Your responses will be used for anonymised reporting, and will not be visible to recruiters during the recruitment process.

By answering these questions it will help us understand the diversity of our candidates and our workforce. This informs our diversity and inclusion strategies, policies and practices.

Skills we look for

The PwC professional framework is about developing the way our people think, learn and develop together during their time with us. It describes the capabilities we need - who we need to be and the behaviours we need to adopt - in order to meet the expectations of our clients, colleagues and communities in today’s changing global marketplace. As PwC professionals, it is important that we influence others constructively within and beyond the workplace, by demonstrating different forms of leadership at various stages of our careers.

Within the PwC Professional framework, there are five attributes:

  • Whole leadership, the ability to lead, to make a difference and create a positive impact
  • The ability to build genuine, meaningful relationships
  • Business acumen, the ability to bring business knowledge, innovation and insight
  • Technical and digital, applying capabilities which deliver quality and value
  • Global and inclusive, transcending boundaries and embracing diverse perspectives

The combination of these attributes helps our people bring their best self to work and to inspire their colleagues and clients to do the same. It also means that PwC people will be strongly and uniquely positioned to meet the challenges of the future wherever their careers might lead them.
