What you'll do

In Technology Strategy, Alliance & Delivery, you’ll transform the way IT works for our clients, reducing costs, increasing efficiency and making it easier for their IT function to respond to the needs of the organisation - part of this team is our Project Delivery Services, where you’ll manage or direct client projects, or you could get involved in project work with clients from other business areas.

In People & Organisation you’ll assist clients in improving their HR functions and processes so they can create  a more efficient and effective workplace This includes delivering the people aspects of significant transformation programmes & transactions, supporting efficient mobilisation of critical talent, and managing people related risk through insight derived from our financial, technical, legal, process and cultural expertise.

In Operations, you’ll help clients optimise their commercial position by changing the way they are structured and the way they operate. Adding to our capabilities in management and process improvement, you’ll help companies find the best way to reduce waste, lower costs and increase value.

In Risk & Regulation, you’ll help clients to protect their brand and enhance their commercial performance by capitalising on every business opportunity while minimising risks across governance, financial and sustainability risk management.

In Strategy&, you’ll focus on the key strategic issues businesses face. The advice you’ll be offering covers both corporate strategy – such as market entry, consumer behaviour and proposition development – and advising private equity investors on the strategic aspects of deals.

In Economics & Policy, you'll help public and private sector clients understand the fundamental dynamics of their markets and products; outline future outcomes and assess what it means for them; and evaluate the impact of an investment or policy decision on their stakeholders.

 

In The Experience Centre, The Difference, Fintech you’ll help create integrated, end-to-end digital solutions from strategy and innovation through to execution to solve our clients’ most complex business challenges. We’re a digital accelerator, bringing together experts from multiple disciplines, creating next-generation experiences for customers, employees and partners.

In Big Data, you’ll help our clients find new meaning through data. Our analytical methods and tools take contextual information and provide important insights for business. This also includes one of the largest actuarial consulting practices in Australia, along with 100 Actuarial professional you’ll provide governments and the private sector with detailed risk-based advice to clients that allows them to plan their financial path ahead with certainty

In Cyber & Forensics, you’ll be performing robust assessments of operational technology environments, this area formulates security recommendations and implements them end-to-end, coupled with Forensic solutions that range from fraud prevention and detection to post-incident investigative services and remedial activities.

Training & Development

Our 'On your marks' training has been devised specifically to immerse graduates into our Consulting business. As part of this program, you'll be guided through a true to life client case study within your first few weeks of joining PwC. Experiencing this study allows graduates to learn and apply new skills in a safe, fun environment, while developing the techniques you'll need to embark on a successful Consulting career. Also covered in 'On your marks' will be subjects on hypothesis based problem solving, high impact documents, and more. You'll also learn about effective communication and interviewing, dealing with conflict, presenting, and giving and receiving feedback. Ongoing coaching, further sessions and networking events will also be provided beyond the initial program

Who's eligible?

We accept people from all degree backgrounds.

Ideally you'll be:

  • In your final year or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • If you are an international student, you must be in possession of full-time working rights within Australia. International students will need to submit either one of the following: IELTS, OET, TOEFL, iBT, PTE or CAE. International Students will also need to submit their visa notice, and meet the minimum requirements as set out by the Australian Department of Immigration. To view these requirements, click here.)

How do I apply?

When will the Assessment Centre Days be held?

Our 2018 Vacationer and Graduate vacancies now operate on a deadline driven basis.

Whilst we try to accommodate all candidates, we will require you to attend an Assessment Centre to ensure a fair candidate process for all applicants. Therefore, if you are overseas for extended periods of time, we may be unable to progress your application.

Is this Graduate Program rotational?

Most Graduate positions are not rotational, and the team you are placed in, will be your ongoing role (until you reach promotion and so on).

When does the Graduate Program end?

When you are offered a Graduate role, this role is permanent and ongoing. The Graduate Program ends for you individually when you are promoted to a Senior Consultant level.
