Private Business Barometer
The PwC Private Business Barometer is a national, independent survey of Australian private businesses with revenues between approximately A$10 and $100 million. We survey 1000 businesses annually and six months later we take a pulse of the market to highlight trends and movements in business sentiment and performance.
The findings from the latest
Private Business Barometer Pulse are telling us that despite more than half of private businesses meeting or exceeding their revenue targets over the past six months, a large portion of businesses are not confident. This lack of confidence is driven around external factors they feel are out of their control, including the domestic and global economy and political stability.
Businesses are realising that they cannot purely rely on organic growth as their sole growth strategy. Private businesses are looking at expanding into new product markets to facilitate growth.
