PwC Australia has today announced the creation of an advisory board to provide guidance and to add further strength to PwC’s CMO Advisory practice.
The two external appointees to the board are Sunita Gloster, CEO, Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), and Mark Buckman, Managing Director, Customer and Retail, Foxtel.
PwC Chief Creative Officer Russel Howcroft said Sunita’s and Mark’s appointment would “turbocharge” the CMO advisory offering at a time when the business was at a critical growth phase.
“Having industry leaders such as Mark and Sunita joining our CMO Advisory board is a critical part of our growth strategy for this new practice,” he said.

PwC’s CMO Advisory has six key areas of expertise including Brand Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Market Insights, Marketing Performance and Analytics, Marketing Structure and Operations and Creative Solutions.

Mark Buckman, Foxtel’s Managing Director, Customer and Retail, is the former CMO for Telstra and Commonwealth Bank. Prior to his recent return to Australia, Mark led the strategy for Accenture Interactive across Europe/ Africa/Middle East/ Latin America. Renowned as one of Australia’s most innovative marketers, Buckman brings experience across all media channels to the advisory role, along with an in-depth understanding of the changing role of digital media for consumers.
Sunita Gloster has built a strong career across leading global agencies having twice been recognised as one of the ‘Top 35 Businesswomen in the UK under 35’ by Management Today. More recently, as the CEO of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), the leading industry body that champions the interests of advertisers in Australia, Gloster has been responsible for evolving the self-regulatory system of advertising.
