Our climate change team have extensive experience in providing a broad range of carbon-related accounting, legal, tax and advisory services. We continue to work closely with policy makers and companies in analysing issues and developing practical solutions on climate change matters.

In 2008, PwC was elected by the Australian Government to be on the panel to provide consultancy and legal services relating to the design and implementation of Australia's Emissions Trading Scheme, as well as the panel for broad based legal services to the Commonwealth Government Department of Climate Change.

PwC awarded prestigious international recognition as the 'Best Advisory/Consultancy' in the area of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Australasia by Environmental Finance Magazine, 2008 market survey. We practice what we preach on climate change…PwC were the first of the Big 4 professional services firms to make the commitment to become carbon neutral. We achieved this on 1 July 2008.
