How do we do this?

The M&A team develops and fosters relationships with our clients at both shareholder and senior management levels, thereby gaining a solid understanding of our client's strategic priorities. We then provide independent advice and directly assist our clients to execute their objectives through:

• Divestment of businesses - we advise on optimal sale structures (e.g. IPO vs trade sale); identify and approach potential buyers; prepare the necessary marketing materials; manage the due diligence process (tax, legal, financial etc); provide valuation advice and assist with negotiations through to the completion of the transaction.
• Acquisitions - we help clients identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets; provide valuation advice; assist with negotiations, manage the due diligence process (tax, legal, financial etc) and assist with the procurement of acquisition finance.
• Capital raisings - we assist clients with their funding strategies at various stages of the business lifecycle, from early through mature stages, which may involve funding sources including venture capital, private equity, infrastructure funding and initial public offerings (IPOs).
