Asia Pacific Cities of Opportunity
An independent report by the Sydney PwC Economics team has found that
when applying a balanced scorecard approach, Sydney leads most Asia
Pacific cities across a range of attributes necessary to provide an
effective operating location for major corporates.
The Asia Pacific Cities of Opportunity report, for the Sydney Chamber
of Commerce, examines the economic case of major Asia Pacific cities
and attractiveness as a regional headquarters.
The report look at eight different aspects of a city, ranging from the
ease of doing business, cost and financial clout, through to
transportation, environmental and lifestyle assets. Both developed and
emerging Asia Pacific cities including Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong,
Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo were
examined in the study.
