The China Greentech Report 2011
Our colleagues in China have co-sponsored the release of 'The China Greentech Report 2011' which analyses recent developments in the greentech sector and examines existing and emerging opportunities across six key sectors:
- cleaner conventional energy
- renewable energy
- electric power infrastructure
- green building
- cleaner transportation
- clean water.
The report provides comprehensive analysis and insight into the trends that are contributing to China's rapid rise to global greentech leader and the solutions supporting it.
The China Greentech Initiative ("CGTI"), founded in 2008, has rapidly grown to become the only Chinese-international collaboration platform of 100+ commercial and policy organisations, focused on identifying, developing and promoting green technology solutions in China. PwC China is the strategic partner of the initiative and has provided substantial resources to the creation of this study.
This is the second public deliverable released by the CGTI. The 2011 Report is a companion document to The China Greentech Report 2009, released in September 2009, which has over 50,000 copies in circulation.
