Jeremy Thorpe

Consulting Economics & Policy Leader

His expertise is in the design and evaluation of regulatory schemes and government programmes and complex impact assessments. He has led more than 40 reviews of legislative arrangements across a range of industries for the Commonwealth and all state and territory governments.

Jeremy was a director at The Allen Consulting Group and an Economist for the Commonwealth Treasury and Office of Regulation Review (Industry Commission). He is currently the Chairman of Viscopy Ltd and an Associate Member for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Economics through the University of Adelaide and Australian National University. He is currently undertaking a PHD in law at the University of Technology in Sydney.

Jeremy regularly contributes to various studies on socio-economic impact analysis.
