The huge diversity of our clients, and the range of their individual needs means there are enormous opportunities to work on projects which challenge and appeal to you. PwC is structured into the following business areas – Advisory, Assurance, IFS, Private Clients and Tax & Legal.
Advisory
Businesses need help with a myriad of complex situations: from major transactions and organisational change to strategic decisions about their future. Our Advisory team works closely with clients to listen to their needs and expectations, and provide advice, guidance and creative solutions to help them negotiate the most challenging of questions and environments.
Advisory activities fall under two major streams, Deals and Consulting - each with their own areas of specialist expertise.

 Fiona Doley Advisory
Working in the Deals team within Advisory, I have a real-time impact on my client's business. Whether advising on a potential takeover, or helping them maximise synergies from a recent acquisition, I'm delivering real, tangible value to clients every day. |

Successful growth requires creativity, experience, insights and deep relationships. Our Deals team works with clients from inception through execution to realise each deal. As lead or financial adviser on mergers and acquisitions, both in the private and public sector or corporate recovery, we bring together a combination of insights and services including due diligence, value advisory, debt and capital advisory, and infrastructure advisory.
Our Consulting practice helps clients to design strategies, execute them, and make change stick. Our Consulting team works with clients on an array of engagements, which may include setting strategies, implementing performance improvements in areas of sourcing, process and customer experience as well as advising on IT architecture and the management of cost, talent, risk and regulation. In doing this, we help businesses innovate and grow in a complex environment.
Assurance is the largest of our business areas. Our people in Assurance work with their clients to analyse aspects of their activities, advise them on whether their financial accounts are true and fair, ensure they are meeting their regulatory responsibilities, and find out if there are any ways to improve their performance. To offer advice that is genuinely informed, it is important to understand every aspect of a client's business.
