Marcus Tierney

Specialist area: Tax & Legal – Specialist Tax

Marcus started with PwC in January 2001 and has been with the firm since then except for an 18 month stint with a consultancy group between 2007 and mid 2008.

Prior to joining PwC Marcus studied an undergraduate degree in Science with honours, specialising in immunology before going on to complete his PhD in medicine studying breast cancer.

Marcus is married with three young children, Ben, 6, Ella 4, and Claudia 2. Outside of work Marcus enjoys running (in 2000 he ran in the 5000m Olympic trials), cycling, movies, reading, drinking red wine and spending time with family at home and on holidays.
