Margot has more than 16 years experience in assurance, financial reporting, regulation and compliance, both within Australia and abroad.

Margot specialises in providing accounting advice on the practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Margot has provided specialised accounting advice to clients on financial and capital markets transactions including debt, equity and hybrid fundraisings. More recently her work has focused on financial reporting issues relating to revenue, tax, executive remuneration and financial statement presentation.

Margot has worked extensively with the investor community and the media to understand the information needs of users of financial reports and to help these key stakeholders understand emerging accounting issues. She also contributes to debate on accounting standard setting and emerging issues through numerous global PwC committees.
