Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is CEO and Senior Partner of PwC Australia, and a member of the Firm Executive. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm and is passionate about driving exceptional client service and fostering a culture of high performance.

Mark has held leadership positions with the firm for the past 14 years and has extensive experience in development and lead execution of strategy. Prior to his current appointment, Mark held the positions of National Managing Partner Businesses and Australian Assurance Leader, in addition to serving on the Global Assurance Leadership Team.

An active client-facing partner, Mark has led the audits of a number of PwC Australia's major clients and provided a range of other related accounting, control and governance services to many of Australia's largest companies.

He is a former member of the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and is currently Deputy Chairman of the Finance and Reporting Committee of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mark's interests include family activities, theatre, reading, tennis and occasionally golf.
