Luke Sayers

Luke Sayers is the National Managing Partner of PwC Australia and responsible for leading all the client facing businesses - a team of 5000 people who partner with global and Australian businesses, governments, high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs to help them grow and succeed.

Luke has held a number of appointments since joining PwC in 1991, initially working with clients in the Information Communications industry. Luke was made a Partner of PwC at the age of 31 making him one of the youngest partners admitted to the firm. He became the Global Relationship Partner on some of the firm's most important clients and lived in Washington, USA for three years, before returning to Australia in 2001. Since returning, Luke has been the Clients and Markets Leader, the Tax business Leader and now National Managing Partner. In this time Luke has led a number of important changes to the firm to make it more client centric, service focused and relevant to the business community.

Luke's main passion and interest is spending time with clients - understanding their challenges and shaping how PwC can better support them. He plays a senior relationship partner role on a number of iconic Australian clients including BHP Billiton, ANZ Bank, Wesfarmers, Telstra and Qantas.

Luke is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is a strong supporter and Board Member of EPIC, an organisation focused on the provision of early childhood intervention services to children with disabilities.

Luke is married to Cate, and lives in a bustling house in Melbourne, thanks to his four daughters.
