Ian Farmer

Ian Farmer is PwC Australia's Managing Partner of Tax & Legal and a member of the Firm Executive. Ian leads our 1,200+ team of people in servicing a diverse range of clients on taxation and legal needs.

Ian has held a number of leadership roles within the Tax & Legal business over the past six years, and became Managing Partner for Tax & Legal in July 2009.

Ian has been with the firm for over 25 years, with a particular focus on primarily international tax services to major multinationals. Ian became a partner in 1995 and has been based since then in our Sydney office. As Australian International Tax Services Leader between 1999 and 2005 Ian was heavily involved in a range of tax reform initiatives.

Ian is married to Jenny and has two boys. His interests include sports (particularly football), holidays with the family and good food and wine.
