Supporting responsibility in the marketplace

Corporate responsibility is embedded through our business practices, in our strategic decision making, policies, risk management framework, sustainable supply chain management and most importantly in the behaviours of our people. We also support transparency via initiatives such as the Transparency Awards.

Our clients benefit from these robust practices through our ability to draw on our experience, in addition to supporting our reputation as a trusted advisor. We also remain in constant dialogue with our clients and the wider business community about the issues affecting them, and bringing them to the attention of organisations, regulators, standard-setting bodies and the community as a whole.

Because of what we do and our size, profile and client base, we are uniquely positioned both to influence the public agenda and to be influenced by it. We work alongside government and major Australian organisations to enhance the quality and integrity of the country's businesses.

Our Sustainable Supply Chain Management policy sets out minimum standards for incorporating corporate responsibility into the procurement of all goods and services, to reduce PwC's social and environmental impacts.

This includes our What would you like to grow? Campaign and a range of industry publications such as Carbon ready …or not and Entertainment & Media Outlook. Global Commitments – Globally PwC has taken a leadership role in promoting the concept and practice of corporate responsibility. One way we do this is by participating in the United Nations Global Compact.
